With the triumph, Pueblo County improves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO) to face the Colts in a 4A South Central contest on Tuesday, September 17. The Colts enter the contest with a record of 5-11. Pueblo South lost 8-7 in their recent league contest against Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO)

The Sabercats now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Douglas County for a 5A/4A Continental contest on Monday, September 16. Castle View will face a Huskies squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Huskies record now stands at 9-3.
