The Yellow Jackets now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cook for a non-league outing on Monday, September 16. Wayne County will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, East Laurens moves to 13-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA) to encounter the Royals in a 1A D-I Region 2 outing on Tuesday, September 17. The Royals come into the outing with a record of 5-7. Bleckley County won 13-0 in their recent league outing against Central (Macon, GA)
