North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tattnall Square Academy Trojans (Macon, GA), 11-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, North Gwinnett improves its record to 12-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Brookwood (Snellville, GA) to face the Broncos in a 6A Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 17. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 16-2. Brookwood won 11-0 in their recent league game against Duluth (Duluth, GA)

The Trojans now hold a 15-5 record. They play next when they host John Milledge Academy for a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 6 game on Tuesday, September 17. Tattnall Square Academy will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Westfield School (Perry, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-8.
