Minnesota High School Volleyball - Alexandria tips Monticello

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN) and the host Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN), observed Alexandria's volleyball team hold off Monticello by a tally of 2-1.

The Cardinals (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Monticello, MN). The Magic enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Monticello was tipped by Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Magic meet the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rocori (Cold Spring, MN).
