Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Logan County improves its record to 10-5 on the season. The Cougars host Russellville (Russellville, KY) to encounter the Panthers in a District 13 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-6. Russellville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY)

The Patriots now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe County for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Allen County-Scottsville will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 9-2.
