The Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) volleyball knocked off the visiting East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Mavericks now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Western Hills for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. Anderson County will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, East Jessamine drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Atherton (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. The Ravens come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Atherton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY)
