With the win, King's Fork improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a Southeastern test on Thursday, September 19. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 2-7. Lakeland won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)

The Firebirds now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Worcester Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24.
