Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN) and the host Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN), observed Dawson-Boyd's volleyball team top Ashby by a count of 2-0.

The Blackjacks (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Canby (Canby, MN). The Lancers enter the Camden contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Canby notched a victory over Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Arrows battle the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Ashby will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
