The Tunkhannock Tigers edged the visiting Athens Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Tunkhannock will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Bucks go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Susquehanna (Susquehanna, PA).

The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their game against North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA). The Mountie go into the PIAA District IV game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, North Penn-Liberty was edged by Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA), 3-1, in a league game.
