The Avondale Yellowjackets edged the host Lincoln Park Railsplitters volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Avondale will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Pontiac (Pontiac, MI).
The Railsplitters (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Taylor (Taylor, MI). The Griffins go into the Downriver game with a 0-0 record.
