George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, George C. Marshall advances its record to 11-5 on the season. The Statesmen travel to Poinciana Christian Preparatory (Kissimmee, FL) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-0. Poinciana Christian Preparatory won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Vero Beach (Vero Beach, FL)

The Antelopes now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Avonworth will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
