Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Jefferson Avonworth

The Avonworth Antelopes prevailed the visiting Jefferson Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Antelopes confront the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 4 game, on Tuesday, September 17. Avonworth will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.

The Cougars (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs enter the Eastern Panhandle game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Martinsburg was dropped by Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
