In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Baptist Prep Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Searcy Lions.
The Eagles (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Cyclones enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Russellville was beaten by Greenwood (Greenwood, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR) in a 5A East challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Searcy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
