The Bishop Diego Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets to 1 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now possess a 12-0 record. They play next when they host Villanova Prep for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 17. Bishop Diego will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Beacon Hill (Camarillo, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Sacred Heart of Jesus drops to 13-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to play the Stars in a Del Rey outing on Tuesday, September 17.
