Tennessee High School Volleyball - Mount Vernon tips Brentwood Academy

September 14, 2024: Brentwood, TN 37027

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Brentwood Academy Eagles.

The Mustangs (19-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Blackman (Murfreesboro, TN). The Blaze enter the non-league challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Blackman got by Rockvale (Rockvale, TN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Brentwood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN).
