Next up, the Tigers confront the South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Newberg will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Willamette (Eugene, OR).

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Woodburn (Woodburn, OR). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Mid-Willamette game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Woodburn was dropped by Lebanon (Lebanon, OR), 3-2, in a league game.
