In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host LeRoy Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos.

The Panthers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Mustangs come into the Heart of Illinois challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Ridgeview lost by El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Broncos play the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Cerro Gordo/Bement will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Purple Riders come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Judah Christian (Champaign, IL).
