Georgia High School Volleyball - Cherokee Bluff over Lakeview Academy

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) and the host Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), observed Cherokee Bluff's volleyball team top Lakeview Academy by a count of 2-0.

The Bears (18-14) will now prepare for their contest against Banks County (Homer, GA). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 13-13 record. In their last contest, Banks County was knocked off by Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions clash with the Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) in a GIAA 4AAA bout, on Tuesday, September 17. Lakeview Academy will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA).
