In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sanford-Fritch Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Childress Bobcats.

The Eagles (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside (Vernon, TX). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Northside was tipped by Munday (Munday, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Benjamin Mustangs (Benjamin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Childress will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 21-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, TX).
