Illinois High School Volleyball - Nokomis over Civic Memorial

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) and the host Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL), observed Nokomis's volleyball team top Civic Memorial by a count of 2-0.

The Redskins (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against South County (Franklin, IL). The Vipers enter the MSM contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, South County notched a victory over Edinburg (Edinburg, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Roxana Shells (Roxana, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 16. Civic Memorial will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Shells enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 league win over East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL).
