In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Cliffside Park Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kearny Kardinals.

The Raiders (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ). The Scarlets come into the Freelance challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Ridgefield Park beat Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Kardinals play the McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. Kearny will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Passaic Arts & Science Charter (Passaic, NJ).
