Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Enterprise Outlaws (Enterprise, OR), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Elgin advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Huskies host Ione/Arlington (Ione, OR) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 4-3. Ione/Arlington lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR)
The Outlaws now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stanfield for a 2A Blue Mountain test on Thursday, September 19. Enterprise will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over La Grande (La Grande, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
