The Cardinals (8-17) will now prepare for their contest against Southmoore (Moore, OK). The SaberCats enter the non-league contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Southmoore notched a victory over Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Owls battle the Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) in a Wichita Mountain contest, on Monday, September 16. Elgin will attempt to move on its 1-18 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 15-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Harding Prep (Oklahoma City, OK).
