The Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) volleyball knocked off the host Evansville Central Bears (Evansville, IN), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Hatchets now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tecumseh for a Pocket bout on Monday, September 16. Washington will clash with a Braves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Braves record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Evansville Central drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 16.
