In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Mary's Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fairfax Stampede.
The Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, ALA - Queen Creek lost by Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Stampede play the Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ).
