The First Baptist Crusaders nudged the visiting Suburban Christian volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Union Grove Christian edged Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the meet the Tabernacle Christian Eagles (Martinsville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Suburban Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Seven Oaks Classical (Ellettsville, IN).
