The Leland Comets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Ravenna Bulldogs to 1 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Comets now have a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Newaygo for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. Leland will play a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Lions record now stands at 12-15.

With the loss, Ravenna drops to 4-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to White Cloud (White Cloud, MI) to play the Indians in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 11-5. White Cloud lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Kent City (Kent City, MI)
