In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Maranatha Minutemen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Monica Academy Crusaders.

The Minutemen (14-13) will now prepare for their challenge against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA). The Griffins come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy lost by El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders play the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. St. Monica Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).
