Alabama High School Volleyball - Vestavia Hills over Montevallo

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Vestavia Hills Rebels (Vestavia Hills, AL) and the visiting Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL), observed Vestavia Hills's volleyball team top Montevallo by a count of 2-0.

The Rebels (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL). The Mounties enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Shades Valley notched a victory over Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Montevallo will attempt to move on its 14-9 season record. The Stampede enter the contest with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL).
