Tennessee High School Volleyball - Mount Vernon tips Soddy Daisy

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the host Soddy Daisy Trojans (Soddy Daisy, TN), observed Mount Vernon's volleyball team hold off Soddy Daisy by a margin of 2-1.

The Mustangs now possess a 19-13 record. They play next when they travel to Brentwood Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14.

With the loss, Soddy Daisy drops to 10-14 on the campaign. The Trojans host Harris County (Hamilton, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 10-11. Harris County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN)
