The Ontonagon Gladiators (Ontonagon, MI) volleyball held off the visiting Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Gladiators now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host L'Anse for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. Ontonagon will clash with a Purple Hornets team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI). The Purple Hornets record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Stephenson drops to 6-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Dollar Bay (Dollar Bay, MI) to clash with the Bays in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. The Bays come into the bout with a record of 2-6.
