In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Weatherford Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Putnam City Pirates.

The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Elgin (Elgin, OK). The Owls come into the Wichita Mountain challenge with a 1-18 record. In their last challenge, Elgin lost by Verdigris (Claremore, OK), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
