In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Yorkville Christian Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Reed-Custer Comets.

The Mustangs (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Flanagan-Cornell was beaten by Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Reed-Custer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL).
