Southmoore SaberCats (Moore, OK) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southmoore improves its record to 18-11 on the season. The SaberCats host Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Central Oklahoma test on Tuesday, September 17. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 10-11.

The Cardinals now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sequoyah for a Green Country test on Tuesday, September 17. Verdigris will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Metro Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 12-9.
