Indiana High School Volleyball - Western tips Union County

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) and the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), observed Western's volleyball team hold off Union County by a count of 2-1.

The Panthers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Golden Bears enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Shelbyville got by Hauser (Hope, IN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots battle the Noblesville Millers (Noblesville, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Union County will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Millers enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Westfield (Westfield, IN).
