The University Academy Charter Gryphons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Winnetonka Griffins to 0 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gryphons now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Buchanan for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 17. University Academy Charter will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over South Holt (Oregon, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Winnetonka drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Raytown South (Raytown, MO) to play the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 1-8. Raytown South lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Lincoln College Prep (Kansas City, MO)
