The Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA) football defeated the host Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA), 49-26 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Indians face the Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Friday, September 23. Istrouma will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Green Devils enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 55-0 league win over Tara (Baton Rouge, LA).

The Buccaneers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors enter the 4A District 6 bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, St. Michael defeated Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA), 23-0, in a league bout.
