The Hickory Hawks football team (Chesapeake, VA), was ripped 44-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA)
The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves come into the Southeastern challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Indian River was ripped by King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 28-0, in a league challenge.
The Hawks now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oscar Smith for a Southeastern challenge on Friday, September 23. Hickory will meet a Tigers team coming off a 54-0 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
