The Hyannis Longhorns football team (Hyannis, NE), was ripped 50-12 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE)

The Broncos (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE). The Coyotes come into the D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Anselmo-Merna trounced Leyton (Dalton, NE), 14-12, in a league challenge.

The Longhorns now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sandhills/Thedford for a D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 23. Hyannis will meet a Knights team coming off a 32-22 league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
