In Thursday's league test, the host Spearfish Spartans soccer squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets.
The Spartans now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sturgis Brown for a Class AA test on Tuesday, September 20. Spearfish will meet a Scoopers squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Scoopers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Douglas/Rapid City Christian drops to 0-7 on the season. The Patriot comets host Stevens (Rapid City, SD) to meet the Raiders in a Class AA test on Thursday, September 22. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 5-4.
