The Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) football defeated the host Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC), 36-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the War Eagles face the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 22. Gray Collegiate Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 42-32 non-league loss to Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC).
