The Alexander Central Cougars prevailed the visiting West Iredell Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watauga for a test on Monday, September 19. Alexander Central will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-1.

The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their test against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, East Lincoln gained a win over Hickory (Hickory, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
