With the win, Cypress Creek upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bears travel to University (Orlando, FL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Knights now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Legacy Charter for a bout on Wednesday, September 21.
