The Grand Valley Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Pymatuning Valley Lakers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John for a non-league game on Monday, September 19. Grand Valley will meet a Fighting Herald team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH). The Fighting Herald record now stands at 9-0.

The Lakers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Rockets enter the game with a 1-1 record.
