The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL) and the host Isabella Mustangs (Maplesville, AL), saw Marbury's volleyball squad nip Isabella by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Marbury upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Tallassee (Tallassee, AL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, September 19. The Tigers enter the test with a record of 0-1.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
