Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Altoona nudges Shikellamy

Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountain Lions confront the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 17. Altoona will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Seals enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 8-2 league win over Milton (Milton, PA).

The Braves now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Muncy for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 19. Shikellamy will confront a Indians team coming off a 1-0 league loss to South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.
