In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Denfeld Hunters soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Superior Spartans.
The Hunters (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Bluejackets go into the Class A Section 7 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Hibbing was nudged by Cloquet (Cloquet, MN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Duluth, MN). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record.
