In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Lake Center Christian Tiger soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Garfield G-Men.
The Tiger (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH). The Eagles come into the Portage Trail - County battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, John F. Kennedy Catholic nudged Lordstown (Warren, OH), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
