The crowd at Thursday's league test between the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) and the host St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV), saw George Washington's soccer squad knock off St. Albans by a count of 3-0.

The Patriots now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Parkersburg for a Mountain State test on Saturday, September 17. George Washington will meet a Big Reds squad coming off a 10-2 league win over South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, St. Albans drops to 4-6 on the season. The Red dragons travel to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 9-0. Greenbrier East won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
