In Thursday's league battle, the host Maryvale Prep Matador soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Orme Warriors.
The Matador (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against 91st Psalm Christian School (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles come into the CAA D1 Cactus battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, 91st Psalm Christian School was overwhelmed by Tri-City Christian Academy (Chandler, AZ), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Verde Valley (Sedona, AZ). The Coyotes come into the CAA D1 Roadrunner battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Verde Valley was overwhelmed by Maryvale Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2, in a league battle.
